Don’t Just Take Our Word—Hear It From the Women of Smarketers

We truly believe that Women’s Day is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s an opportunity to recognize, appreciate, and celebrate the remarkable women who contribute their passion, resilience, and talent every day.

At The Smarketers, we wanted to go beyond a conventional approach; we wanted to understand from the women of our team how they navigate the balance between personal and professional life, what fuels their motivation, and what Women’s Day means to them. Their stories reflect strength, ambition, and the unwavering drive to grow and succeed.

Here’s what they had to share:

Swati Bansal

Swati Bansal (Content Marketing Manager)

I believe women are naturally gifted in balancing personal and professional life—I’ve seen it in my grandmother, mother, and all the women around me. What keeps me going is this innate strength and the passion I bring to everything I do. To stay calm and relaxed, I turn to books—they help me disconnect from technology and find joy in new worlds. Though I explored sales and digital marketing, content writing has always been my true calling, bringing me the most fulfillment. Women’s Day, to me, is a testament to the struggles and resilience of the women before us. While the journey continues, I’m grateful to be in a time where women are valued, respected, and empowered to contribute.

Siri Reddy (Sr. Content Writer)

I prioritize tasks and set clear boundaries to balance my personal and professional responsibilities. Taking breaks and spending time with my loved ones helps me recharge my creativity and energy. Physical exercise is my go-to self-care practice—it keeps me motivated and focused. I chose content writing as my career because I believe in the power of words to influence and inspire people. To me, Women’s Day is all about reflecting on all the amazing things women have done and continue to do. It’s all about recognising how strong, smart, and powerful women are.

Sindhu

Sindhu Lakshmi M (Web Developer)

I balance my personal and professional responsibilities with the support of my elders, effective time management, and a healthy lifestyle that keeps me energized. My biggest motivation comes from the little moments with my kids and my spiritual connection—watching them grow and learn is incredibly fulfilling. I chose this career because I love the creativity in web design and the opportunity to interact with different clients, making my work both dynamic and rewarding. To me, Women’s Day is a reminder to celebrate and recognize the contributions of women in all fields.

Lakshmi Pranathi (Marketing Associate)

I always try to manage my time wisely and stay stress-free to ensure an effective balance of personal and professional responsibilities. My career choice was driven by a desire to learn, take a different path, and prove to myself that I can thrive in this field. To me, Women’s Day is a celebration of women’s hard work, strength, and achievements—a reminder to respect and appreciate them every day. Behind every success, there’s a woman who encourages, supports, and sacrifices for her family, and that deserves recognition.

Aysha Ayub (Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing)

I’ve learned that balance isn’t always about strict boundaries—it’s about understanding priorities at any given moment. To stay motivated, I focus on what’s within my control rather than stressing over things beyond my reach. My career choice was driven by the desire to work on my strengths and do what I’m truly good at. To me, Women’s Day is a special day—a time when women’s achievements and challenges are acknowledged.

Priyadarshini Ananthan (Sr. Growth Marketing Manager)

Balancing personal and professional life is a work in progress for me. This year, I’m setting boundaries, avoiding weekend spillovers, and being more vocal about my needs. My daily self-care includes quiet coffee time with a book and, when possible, a morning walk with my dog. I choose this career for its dynamic nature—no two days or clients are the same—and the opportunity to collaborate across teams and industries. While Women’s Day is a great reminder to celebrate women, especially working mothers, true appreciation should go beyond just one day.
