BEWARE OF IMPOSTERS: Protect Yourself from Scammers

We have recently discovered that The Smarketers name and the identities of our employees are being exploited by scammers for fraudulent activities. It is our duty to inform and protect our valued clients and the general public from falling victim to these deceptive schemes.

The Issue

Since January 2024, imposters and scammers have been using The Smarketers’ name and our employees’ identities to perpetrate fraud. These malicious individuals have been reaching out to unsuspecting individuals via WhatsApp and email, soliciting them to fill out random Google reviews. They promise compensation based on the number of reviews filled. Additionally, they have created a fraudulent, imposter website called “Smarketors – https://www.smarketors-work.com to further deceive people into believing they are associated with our legitimate company.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS AND REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY TO CYBERCRIME AUTHORITIES IN YOUR REGION
These fraudulent activities, not only tarnish our company’s reputation but also endanger innocent individuals who may unknowingly fall victim to these scams. Our primary concern is the safety & security of both our company & the general public.

Evidence

To substantiate these claims, we have attached screenshots displaying the unauthorized use of our company’s name in these fraudulent activities. These screenshots include WhatsApp conversations where requests for Google reviews are made, showcasing how our company’s reputation and our employees’ identities are being exploited for illegitimate gains.
